Empowering mindful writers to elevate their words with engaging and soulful illustrations.

“incredible from start to finish”

I worked with Julieta when I needed new images for a pitch bible for an animated series. She was very flexible, intelligent with her ideas, excellent with communication, and a creative problem-solver. The process of collaboration with her was exemplary.

And for ones who like to read...

I am a Portuguese illustrator born in the Azores islands.

I love words, drawing, mindfulness and food.

I spent my childhood diving in the ocean, making mud cakes for my little brother, and drawing mermaids. Nowadays, I live and swim in the seas of Ericeira, a coastal town near Lisbon. I still love cooking, but with a bit less soil than before.

I believe words are little photographs we can put together as a film, and enjoy each frame of the story with all the time in the world.

I believe drawing is both (and paradoxically) a way of thinking and a tool for mindfulness.

I believe food teach us about our concepts of beauty, culture, consciousness, and source.
